On December 28, 2026, Gyp Sea Beach welcomes one of the most celebrated DJs on the planet. Black Coffee takes the decks for Super Island, the week-long festival created by Indie Beach and Gyp Sea on St. Jean Bay.
A global icon of house music
His sound blends deep house, Afro-house, soul and jazz into long, hypnotic sets with a warm, elegant groove. He became the first African DJ invited to record a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, has been named Best Deep House DJ several times at the DJ Awards, and played the world's biggest stages, from Coachella to Ibiza. In 2022, his album Subconsciously earned him the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, a first for an African artist. Along the way he has collaborated with names such as Drake, David Guetta, Pharrell Williams and Usher.
