Moojo, Villanova & Matteo Diop at Super Island

On January 1, 2027, Gyp Sea Beach welcomes the first day of the year with three French house selectors. Moojo, Villanova and Matteo Diop take over the decks for Super Island, the week-long festival created by Indie Beach and Gyp Sea on St. Jean Bay.

A French touch of Afro and deep house

Raised in Nice, Moojo blends African percussion, Latin rhythms and warm house grooves into a sound that has made him one of the rising names of Afro house, with tracks like Secret ID and Hate It Or Love It, and his own label, Calamar Records. He is joined by Villanova, his regular back-to-back partner, and by Matteo Diop, a Brittany-born, Paris-based DJ known for his soulful deep house selections and his summer residency in Saint-Tropez. Together, they set the tone for a sunny, groovy New Year's Day, barefoot in the sand.
