Peggy Gou at Super Island

On December 31, 2026, Gyp Sea Beach welcomes one of the most magnetic DJs of her generation. Peggy Gou takes the decks for Super Island, the week-long festival created by Indie Beach and Gyp Sea on St. Jean Bay.

From Incheon to the world's dancefloors

Born Kim Min-ji in Incheon, South Korea, Peggy Gou studied classical piano as a child, moved to London as a teenager and learned to DJ in 2009, before making Berlin her home base. In 2016 she became the first Korean DJ to play the legendary Berghain, and her 2018 hit It Makes You Forget (Itgehane), sung in Korean, turned her into a global name. She has since founded her own label, Gudu Records, released a DJ-Kicks compilation, played the biggest festivals from Coachella to Glastonbury, and conquered the charts in 2023 with (It Goes Like) Nanana. Blending house, techno and disco with a sunny, playful touch, her sets are pure joy on the dancefloor.
